The Knights have played here since the building opened in 2007. Its current basketball layout, Knightmare student section and place within Knights Plaza give this arena a distinctly UCF game-day identity.
Addition Financial Arena opened in fall 2007, and UCF men’s and women’s basketball moved in for the 2007–08 season. UCF Athletics lists the current basketball configuration at 9,400, a figure shaped in part by adding a courtside club on one baseline.
About 7,000 seats form the lower bowl and another 3,000 sit upstairs. The “Knightmare” student section supplies the recognizable UCF atmosphere, while club seating occupies the east side and 16 suites add a separate premium option.
The arena stands on the north side of UCF’s main campus within Knights Plaza, beside several other Knights facilities. UCF gives 12777 Gemini Boulevard North as the GPS address and lists nearby garages and surface lots; parking access and prices should be checked against the current basketball game-day guide.
